No. It opens from a link, like a website, but works like an app. Anyone who wants to can save it to their phone's home screen and find it there as an icon.
How is it different from apps you download from the App Store or Google Play?
It's the same Mobee. At first it opens from a link, so you get started right away and customers install nothing. Later, if orders grow, the same ordering system can be published on the App Store and Google Play without redoing the work.
Does it carry my business's name and logo?
Yes: the name, logo, colours and photos are yours. You're not a listing inside someone else's catalogue.
How much does each order cost me?
Nothing. Mobee never keeps a percentage of the value of your orders. If you activate online payments, only the payment provider's fees are due, same as with any POS.
Do my customers find it easily?
Yes. A link or a QR code is enough, and anyone who wants to can save it to their phone's home screen as an icon.
Does it also work from a computer?
Yes, from smartphone, tablet and computer.
Can I use my own domain?
Yes, at no extra cost: the domain is yours, and to use it you just point the DNS record to your online ordering system. It's a feature activated on request. If you'd rather not touch the DNS yourself, we'll walk you through it.
How long does it take to get started?
It's up to you, because you do everything yourself and wait for no one. If you already have your logo, menu and a few photos to hand, your ordering page is live and ready to take orders in 15 minutes. During setup, Mobee AI lends a hand: it reads the menu you upload and drafts the copy, so you're not starting from a blank page. And what you publish on day one isn't final — you refine it whenever you like, piece by piece.
Do I need to be good with computers?
No. If you can use a phone, you can do this too. The setup guides you step by step.
Can I import my menu?
Yes. Take a photo of the menu you already have, upload the PDF, or give the link to your website: guided setup reads it and hands it back to you written out. Then you check and correct it, line by line — nothing goes live without your okay. The first analysis is free, and you get 10 Mobee AI credits included when you sign up; further analyses use 2 credits if you start from a photo, PDF or link, 1 if you start from business details alone. You can run up to three a day.
Can I edit the menu after publishing?
